"In one month, on May 20th, 2021, from 15:00 to 16:30 (CET) will take place a joint Webinar between NO-FEAR ( https://no-fearproject.eu/) and PROACTIVE (https://proactive-h2020.eu/) on “Communication in Crisis: Recommendations on Management, Approaches and Tools for Effective Communication”.
The webinar will address inter-agency communication as well as public-facing communication, specifically looking at the following areas:
Different communication methods, including the type of information shared and how accessibility is addressed.
The challenges presented when communicating with different groups of people, specifically vulnerable citizens.
The long-term effects on the first responders and the public as a result of limited or negative communication in terms of psychological effects
Tools, methods and benefits of communication, both inter-agency (e.g. police, fire, paramedics, emergency departments in hospitals) and with the public
