The University of Rome Tor Vergata participates in the third Joint Activity of the e-NOVATION Project in Morocco
The University of Rome Tor Vergata is proud to announce its participation in the third Joint Activity of the EU-funded e-NOVATION project, which took place in Morocco. This collaborative initiative was organized by our esteemed colleagues at CNRST, in partnership with the Hôpital Militaire d’Instruction Mohammed V and its Virology Center.
The one-week event focused on the biological threat posed by Mpox (monkeypox) infections. The program included academic-level lectures on Morocco’s preparedness strategies, presentations by e-NOVATION partners on Bullseye procedures, and the psychological dimensions of crisis care. These theoretical components culminated in a table-top exercise, simulating the full cycle of treatment and containment of a Mpox case through joint efforts between Moroccan and international experts.
Representing Tor Vergata, Dr. Alba Iannotti, Didactic Coordinator of the First Level Master in Protection Against CBRNe Events, actively contributed to the discussions and practical sessions. The University extends its sincere thanks to Prof. Pasquale Gaudio, Principal Investigator of the e-NOVATION project for UNITOV, for his leadership and commitment.
The event also marked a step forward in expanding the e-NOVATION network to include members from the African Atlantic Facade (Gabon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Cameroon).
We express our deep appreciation to the Moroccan hosts for their warm hospitality and excellent organization, and to all project partners for their continued dedication.
STAY TUNED!
