NARCOSIS Project: Successful Second Consortium Meeting Held Online

Dear colleagues,

On May 15 and 16, 2025, the second consortium meeting of the European project NARCOSIS (Non-tArgeted foRensic multidisCiplinary platfOrm for inveStigation of drug-related fatalitieS) was successfully held in a fully online format. The meeting brought together leading experts, academic institutions, and technical partners from across Europe to assess the progress of the project, align on strategic goals, and map out future steps for development.

This two-day session was not only productive but also deeply inspiring, reinforcing the shared commitment of all participants to achieving the project’s ambitious goals. Discussions spanned both the technical and design dimensions of the project, focusing on the innovative development of simulation technologies and cybersecurity applications that NARCOSIS aims to deliver.

A significant contribution to the success of this initiative is the work carried out by Dr. Alessandro Puleio under the guidance and coordination of Professor Pasquale Gaudio, Principal Investigator for the project at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Their leadership continues to be instrumental in driving the scientific and technical excellence of the Italian team, and in strengthening Italy’s role in shaping cutting-edge solutions in the cybersecurity landscape.

As the project moves forward, the consortium remains firmly dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality, and impactful outcomes. The collaborative spirit and proactive engagement demonstrated during the meeting underscored a shared vision: to contribute meaningfully to the cybersecurity ecosystem and meet the expectations of both academic and industry stakeholders.
