
The University of Rome “Tor Vergata” is pleased to announce that Prof. Andrea Malizia, Director of the International Master Courses in Protection Against CBRNe Events, will be among the invited lecturers at the 67th Course of the Radiation Protection High School “Carlo Polvani”, scheduled to take place from 24 to 27 June 2025 at the Politecnico di Milano (Council Room, Building BL25, via Raffaele Lambruschini, 4, Milan).
The course, titled “The Use of New Technologies in E&T”, is jointly promoted by AIRP (Italian Association of Radiation Protection) and EUTERP (European Training and Education in Radiation Protection Platform), in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano. It represents a high-level train-the-trainer event aimed at enhancing the application of advanced digital technologies—such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and digital twins—in the field of education and training (E&T) for radiation protection.
Prof. Malizia will deliver a lecture on Friday, 27 June 2025, titled:
“AI Exercise and Real-Time Evaluations”, contributing hisexpertise in the integration of AI and simulation technologies for CBRNe safety and radiological training.
This prestigious course will also host renowned international speakers from IAEA, SCK-CEN, POLIMI, EFOMP, BfS, Framatome, and the CBRN-School in Rieti, addressing themes such as systematic training approaches, digital interactivity, and the European Qualification Framework.
