On July 8–9, 2025, the students of the 8th Edition of the International First-Level Master Course in Protection against CBRNe Events participated in an intensive field training at the Interforce NBC School in Rieti, hosted at the “Valdirosi” Barracks and the state-of-the-art NUBICH training facility.
The training began with a warm welcome and institutional greetings from Brigadier General Giorgio Guariglia, Commander of the NBC School, whom we sincerely thank for the hospitality and support in organizing the activity.
Throughout the two days, participants engaged in hands-on exercises both in the classroom and on the field, focusing on key topics such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), CBRN sensors, and sampling procedures. These practical sessions significantly enhanced the operational skills of the students, many of whom are already involved in emergency response and CBRNe risk mitigation in their home countries.
This training represented not only a technical milestone but also a unique experience of cooperation, knowledge exchange, and real-life simulation. We extend our gratitude to the Interforce NBC School and the Italian Ministry of Defence for their continued collaboration and commitment to CBRNe education and safety.
