The collaboration between the University of Rome Tor Vergata—through its International Master Courses in Protection Against CBRNe Events—and
leading international institutions continues to grow.
We are pleased to highlight the recent news shared by the JCBRN Defence Centre of Excellence (COE), which welcomed Dr. Alba Iannotti, Ph.D., to its headquarters.
Dr. Iannotti’s visit represented a valuable opportunity to explore new avenues of cooperation and further consolidate an already strong academic–military partnership. Discussions focused on several strategic domains of mutual interest, including:
-
Joint research and innovation projects in the CBRN field
-
Internship exchanges for master’s students and young professionals
-
Future educational initiatives, training modules, and capacity-building programs
-
Opportunities for long-term institutional collaboration
As highlighted by the JCBRN Defence COE, building robust academic and professional networks is essential to enhancing innovation, preparedness, and resilience in the international CBRN community.
We warmly thank the JCBRN Defence COE team for their hospitality and for their ongoing commitment to advancing shared knowledge and cooperation. This visit marks another important step forward in our joint efforts to strengthen global CBRN risk governance and capacity building.
