🇮🇹 National Scientific Committee – Leadership & Governance
The National Scientific Committee will be led by Lieutenant General Giovanni Maria Iannucci, Commander of the Italian Joint Operations Headquarters (COVI).
With a distinguished career spanning NATO missions, joint operations, and senior defense policy roles, Lt. Gen. Iannucci brings exceptional strategic, operational, and governance expertise to guide the Conference.
🌍 International Scientific Committee – Steering & Advisory
The International Scientific Committee will be chaired by Vasilis Vasiliou, Susan Dwight Bliss Professor of Epidemiology and Chair of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Yale School of Public Health.
An internationally recognized leader in exposomics and environmental health sciences, Prof. Vasiliou ensures the highest level of scientific excellence and global perspective.
Together, the Scientific Committees will steer SICC 2026 across CBRNe safety, security, emerging risks, innovation, and resilience.
