On 20 February 2026, the University of Rome Tor Vergata actively participated in the online workshop dedicated to the validation of results and identification of significant aspects emerging from Work Package 3 (WP3) of the Horizon Europe project SPARKUP.
The workshop was jointly organized with our esteemed partners:
The meeting brought together all partners involved in WP3 to critically assess the progress achieved, validate methodological approaches, and consolidate the analytical framework developed within the project.
The discussion focused on:
-
Identification of significant operational and scientific aspects emerging from WP3 activities
-
Cross-validation of datasets and modelling outputs
-
Alignment of results with SPARKUP’s strategic objectives
-
Strengthening interoperability and harmonization among European CBRN stakeholders
As partner in the SPARKUP consortium, the University of Rome Tor Vergata contributed with its expertise in CBRN risk assessment methodologies, data validation processes, and scientific evaluation frameworks.
A special acknowledgment goes to the Principal Investigator of WP3, Dr. Sabrina Rao, whose scientific leadership and coordination ensured a highly productive and technically rigorous session. Her commitment has been instrumental in consolidating the WP3 results and enhancing the scientific robustness of the project.
This workshop represents another key milestone in SPARKUP’s mission to strengthen European preparedness, analytical capacity, and innovation in the CBRN domain.
The University of Rome Tor Vergata reaffirms its commitment to advancing collaborative research, scientific excellence, and operational readiness within Horizon Europe initiatives.
